About Us

Biocomposites from apricot kernel shells

Mapla transforms apricot kernel shells — an agricultural waste stream — into high-value biocomposite materials. Our products are 100% bio-based, compostable polymer resin compounds engineered for flexible films, rigid injection-molded parts, engineering plastics, thermoforming and profile-extrusion applications.

Our R&D team's research that began at the University of British Columbia, Canada returned to Turkey in 2022 with our incorporation at Malatya İnönü University Technopark. Today we scale up from our Malatya Technopark and İŞGEM OIZ sites toward the European market.
